Creative Idea Pottery fragments which are imperfect products generated in the pottery production process and regularly deposed of as industrial waste are crafted into items familiar to young people as earrings. of sake consumption. On the other hand, there is a strong image that sake is difficult to drink due to its high alcohol content (in fact, it is about the same as wine), and its image is like an uncle. Young people do not have a good image of sake. Therefore, the theme of this project was to appeal to young people and create an opportunity for them to become interested in sake. One of the conditions for this project was that the entire promotion should be completed online due to the influence of Covid-19. Creative Idea We collaborated with "atmos", a leading apparel brand in Japan's street culture, to create a limited edition label and original apparel goods for sake from 11 breweries in Saga Prefecture, which has been loved by local people so much that it once ranked first in Japan in terms of sake consumption. We developed limited edition sake labels and original apparel goods as “SAGA SAKE COLLECTION” from 11 sake breweries in Saga Prefecture. The set of sake and goods was launched online on October 1, Sake Day. We also produced a runway movie featuring Saga residents as models to introduce the original apparel goods, and planned an unusual promotion as if it were a fashion brand. Sado in Niigata and active around the world. Their appeal lies in the high level of performance skills of each individual and the overwhelming performance of the team. In order to become a member of the group, one has to spend about two years in training, eating and sleeping together, and only a few people per year make it through the exam. Their challenge is to make the younger generation aware of Kodo's appeal and to discover the fans of the future. Creative Idea We set up a Yagura(an ancient Japanese building constructed of wood and other materials) as a stage in a Sento (public bath), a popular bathhouse among Japanese youth, and held Japan's first live taiko performance in a Sento. The powerful sound of the taiko drum was played in the highly reverberant space of the bathhouse, creating a new kind of live experience where the entire body seemed to be bathed in the sound. We also planned a participatory performance where the audience could join in the performance by banging the bath tubs like drums to the beat of the taiko. The one-day concert attracted nearly 150 guests, 90% of whom were young people in their 20s and 30s. Many Japanese tourists visit Portland because of its unique restaurants, cafes, and the close proximity between urban and natural environments. In a sense, while the general popularity of Portland has increased, the Portland Convention and Visitors Bureau was eager to convey more of Portland's core attractions to Japan and create a deeper connection with Portland. In order to convey the deep sense of Portland that the slogan "Keep Portland Wired" describes, the Portland Bureau of Tourism needed ideas on which attractions to convey to which people in Japan, and how to do so in a uniquely Portland Wired way. Creative Idea We focused on the fact that Portland is a mecca for sneakers. We developed "Free Pass Sneakers," a special experience for sneakerheads if you wear them. The White Ribbon is a symbol of a movement to support women around the world to live healthier and more self-directed lives. With the aim of achieving a world without maternal deaths, we will join hands and expand our activities beyond national borders so that all women can choose their own way of life. Context In 1999, the White Ribbon Alliance (WRA) was established, and today, organizations and individuals in 155 countries around the world gather under the name of White Ribbon to conduct grassroots support activities with the aim of creating a world where mothers around the world can safely welcome pregnancy and childbirth. While the fundamental activities remain the same, the future of the White Ribbon is about to change. There are three key points. 1) To have a parallel perspective of changing the world together, rather than a relationship of giving and receiving support. 2) Also, the message should be that the goal is to create a world where all women, not just expectant mothers, can live their lives in their own way in good health, both physically and mentally. 3) And that those involved in this movement will work together with all people, regardless of gender.
